Recommendations during application
Castables should be mixed using a mechanical mixer. Recommendations for mixing and initial heating can be found in the SRI material data sheets. SRI engineers are available to help you choose the right grade of refractory castable for your application.
Pre-cast blocks up to 1800°C
SRI pre-cast blocks are unique due to the variety of materials and pre-firing temperatures. A high degree of automation in production makes it possible to produce complex shapes. The basic ingredients of shaped castables can be combined in many different ways:
Dried / tempered / pre-fired
Regular cement to non-cement
Clay to corundum
