The SRI have set up a unique Reseach & Development cum QC / QA Laboratory to undertake short term and long term industrial reseach on new product development for refractory material and evaluating the suitability for use the resorces of refractory raw material in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
 
We have with us in our Laboratory the best knowledgeable ceramic engineers with  decade of work in hand experience in the Central Reseach & Development Division of World Leading Refractory companies.
 
Our laboratory is well equipped to undertake all the testing required for incoming raw material , in - process material and finished products for refractory following the test as per American Testing Standard Methods ( A.S.T.M.)
 
To name a few equipment are Hot Modulus of Rupture, Reheating Furnace PLC Furnace, P.C.E Furnace, RUL Furnace, CCS M/C besides A.P., B.D. Sp.Gravity Testing Equipment.
 
Our Lab is also equipped to undertake small pilot plant sample making of all products that we are manufacturing.
