Glass Industry
GLASS INDUSTRY is one of the oldest basic industries that are serving the mankind of world from age old. Glass is manufactured from Silica Sand, Lime, and Soda Ash Sodium Salt by melting in a pot / tank furnace made out of refractory material. Glass is non reactive to human blood, reusable in nature, non pollutant, and ample availability of its basic mineral ore – “SILICA SAND, LIME AND SODIUM SALT” find it a very much suitable position with respect to Building Industry and for suitability of use to modern world. Though the production of Glass from its Raw Mineral Ore “SILICA SAND, LIME AND SODIUM SALT” is a costly affair, yet, it finds a very favorable position in the structural use.
The modern technology of various Glass Making has undergone a rapid change and has compelled the supporting industry, like refractory industry to manufacture highly purity graded material to withstand the high corrosive action of the material. Refractory Material is one of the costliest and long lead consumable items to Glass Industries requirement and is replaced at a schedule interval to take care of the Plant safety and security point of view. The corrosive action and thermal failure are the area where high purity refractory plays an important role.
The modern concept of Glass Plants is as under :
RAW MATERIAL DRIER > GLASS TANK FURNACE > TIN BATH FLOAT FURNACE > ANNEALING FURNACE > SHEET MAKING / MIRROR MAKING / DECORATING ETCHING.
These plants are gas / oil / electric operated furnace and a lot of Quality Control / Quality Assurance and Research and Development Work in Refractory Material have to be carried out all the time to furnish the sophisticated high purity refractory material requirement.
From our present range we can offer the following :
FIRE BRICK / HIGH ALUMINA BRICK / PRECAST ITEM / BASIC BRICK – (MAGNESIA) / SILICA / MORTAR / CASTABLE (DENSE & INSUL) / PLASTIC MOLDABLE
